Update on the first Wicked Daddy Academy Fetish Fashion Show

6 days away – Holy eff. —> 20 models (6 male, 14 female), 4 photographers, videographer, 5 crew, security, hair and makeup artists, a writer from a local paper tagging along to write a piece, 6 designers, 5 merchants, a BDSM educational demonstration, raffles, drink special, a new *surprise* line from Wicked Daddy Academy – and an effin partridge in a pear tree.

My Highly Over-functional Autistic brain with OCD is *LOVING* bringing such chaos into order.

Here are just some of the details

Our own KaitNoir will be the primary MC

Just *Some* of the models gracing the runway for this event….

Two designers will be unveiling new products at the show, and a third (WickedDaddyAcademy.com) will be unveiling a new hand-made product line as well, and it is big. I can’t wait to blog about it and post pics from the event.

Here is what I learned – I already knew our mission was big. I always knew I had support (from friends, the community I know), but what I did not know what the appetite from so so so very many more that I haven’t reached yet. The outpouring of people wanting to be involved in this has been so incredibly humbling (Keep in mind folks, no one is getting paid for this). My feeling is that this is all about an outpouring from our communities and such a desire from the Seattle community to re-vitalize what *used* to be one of the top things Seattle was known for.

Let me add some perspective – 18 adult stores in Seattle have closed down in the last almost 5 years. Places that were considered *institutions* to the scene and some that have been here for decades. Since Amazon moved in all the smaller shops have been squeezed to death with rent increases and any geared for “us” are finding the city basically becoming a ghost town after dark only to be filled with an ever increasing homeless community taking over. Add that a local “center” for education had to shut their doors amongst internal struggles and is only now reforming – the communities here are yearning for a revitalization. So far – we are projecting for a sold out event. This is going to be epic and will be an amazing learning experience as well.

I look forward to sharing with you all the results of this event – 10 days down, 6 days left until the event. Wish us love and luck friends……..(and if You are able – see you at the show).
